About the Game
|
One day Bud and Rachel were walking in a park when suddenly some strange green-furred creature jumped out of a bright flash of light. The creature grabbed Rachel and ran into the light which then disappeared.
Bud is desperate! Only YOU can help him to rescue Rachel! Take a journey with Bud through space and time in pursuit of Feyatta, a well known green-furred intergalactic abductor. Your quest will lead you to 4 different places in space-time continuum: from the forest more than 8000 years ago, over Ancient Egypt and Medieval Castles, to a Space Ship orbiting Saturn a couple of million years in the future!
"Bud Redhead - The Time Chase" is a suitable game for all ages. It has 20 huge leves set in 4 different worlds: Forest, Ancient Egypt, Medieval Castles and Space Ship. At the end there is a fun Big Boss level in shoot'em'up style. Game has hand drawn high resolution graphics and ambient music tracks. There is also an interesting story between worlds.
"Bud Redhead" is localized to 8 languages: English, French, German, Spanish, Swedish, Dutch, Danish and Croatian.
Unregistered version is limited to the first 3 levels. However, if you wait long enough at the main menu without pressing any key or moving the mouse the game will go into a demonstration mode. There are four one-minute demos (one for each world) so if you are patient enough you can have a peek at what you will get if you register.
Registering (buying) is very simple - no additional downloads are necessary! If you are reading this you already have the full version of the game and you only need a personal registration key to unlock it.

Game Tips
|
read the ingame hints - stand in front of the little screens for a while
you can save your status within the level by standing in front of any checkpoint and pressing the up key
game status is saved automatically after you complete the level
be carefull that you do not save your status when you are playing with your last life and low energy - sometimes it's better to quit the current game and reload (and replay) from the last saved position
if you hold the jump key while jumping Bud will jump higher, therefore to jump lower just tap the jump key
hold the jump key to bounce higher of the mushrooms and other jump pads
water, spikes and electricity will kill you instantly
look for hidden passages - there are many of them
